Mission Statement:  The goal of Muskegon River Youth Home is to provide intervention services to at-risk youth by using a behavior modification approach. Muskegon River Youth Home provides specialized treatment programs.

Muskegon River Youth Home was started in 1996. In 1996, the open-medium boys treatment unit was built. There are currently twelve beds in the non-secure unit. Muskegon River Youth Home accepted youth by referral from D.H.S., court, private and adoption subsidy. The secure unit was built in 2003 and has 24 beds. Muskegon River Youth Home saw a need for a open-medium girls treatment unit, so an additional 12 beds were added in 2005. We are a licensed for a total of 48 males and females, ages 10-17. We accept delinquent and or abused males or females.
